If you had said, “No, we’ll make it work. I’ll do everything I can to make this work,” things would be so different. For one, I wouldn’t think I’m not worth something great again. I’m more scared going into this than I was when you and I started. What’s the point if someone I spent so much time with still couldn’t find something in me that was worth it? He’ll just get tired of me too.
